Weighing less than an ounce and just over an inch tall, this tiny bell makes a lovely party favor, ornament, or decorative addition. Made by rural artisans in a small cooperative in the Kutchi desert region of western India. Each bell is first beaten into shape by hand, then buried under the hot sand in a kiln. This age-old technique of metal-work is what gives each piece its unique patina and tone.
Steel and copper bell will develop a patina of rust over time if left outside. Each handmade bell is unique, so each has its own sweet tone.
